Graston Technique

The team of physical therapists at Health In Balance are now trained as preferred providers of the Graston Technique, an instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization technique that uses stainless steel instruments with unique treatment edges and angles to glide along a patient’s muscles, tendons, or ligaments to release soft tissue adhesions and restrictions.

Benefits of the addition of Graston Technique:

  • Decreases overall time of treatment
  • Enhances speed of recovery
  • Reduces need for anti-inflammatory medication
  • Addresses acute and chronic conditions

Client Testimonial

Before physical therapy at Health In Balance PT I felt like I had to learn to walk all over again. I have learned the value of stretching in order to perform certain exercises and movements. I have a better feel for the role of balance in my day to day movements and activities. I value the knowledge I have gained by going through this process and will continue to practice what I have learned in my daily life.
